60 soldiers killed in shelling in Yemen

Supporters of the rebel movement Ansar Allah, the so-called Hussites, fired on an army training camp located north of the city of Marib. According to reports, 60 people died, and more than 50 soldiers were injured of varying severity.

During the shelling, the Hussites used ballistic missiles. The barracks and the mosque, where evening service was held, were hit.

“The Hussites with this shelling responded to the full-scale offensive of the National Army with the support of the Arab coalition in Naham County, Sana’a Province,” the press service of the Ministry of Defense said.

A few days earlier, nine more servicemen had died and several were injured during a missile attack on government forces barked in a parade in the city of Ed Dali.
