Desperate methods used by the representatives of the US Democratic Party in their attempts to launch the impeachment of the President entail adverse consequences for the US state institutions.
Such a statement was made by White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham.
“Impeachment points adopted by Democrats in the House of Representatives entail the danger of serious and long-term damage to our state institutions and our state itself. The President hopes that this biased and unconstitutional impeachment will end”, – the official said, urging Congress to “look at the work of Americans and discard such falsified political investigations”.
However, the White House decided on a team of lawyers who will represent Donald Trump at the impeachment hearing in the Senate. Among the defenders of the head of the White House were those who in the past were involved in the controversial case of Bill Clinton. In addition, the team included Trump’s special adviser, Pam Bondi, professor emeritus at Harvard Law School Alan Dershowitz, and President’s personal lawyer Jane Ruskin.
As News Front previously reported, Democrats are aggressively trying to oust Donald Trump from the presidency. Initially, he was accused of conspiring with Russia, which allegedly intervened in the 2016 presidential election. In this regard, a large-scale investigation, called “RussiaGate,” was initiated. However, evidence of Trump’s connection with Moscow was never found.
Later, the Democrats began to accuse the head of the White House of “pressure” on the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. The fact is that Trump counted on the assistance of the new Kiev authorities in disclosing information that compromised his Democratic opponent in the upcoming elections, Joe Biden.
The latter, being Vice President of Barack Obama, blackmailed Petro Poroshenko, having secured the dismissal of the prosecutor general, who was investigating financial fraud in the company of Biden Jr. Democrats could not allow the disclosure of these scandalous facts, so they decided to launch a counterattack in the form of impeachment proceedings.
