The Berlin conference on Libya on January 19 may be successful, it is important to continue coordinating the efforts of leading players, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
The Berlin conference will be held on January 19 after the inter-Libyan talks in Moscow with the participation of representatives of the Russian Federation and Turkey.
“If there is political will on all sides, I think that reaching the scheme of agreements that was worked out in Moscow is probably possible, but for this it is necessary that additional efforts be made and flexibility shown”, – Ryabkov said.
“I want to emphasize that Russia, like Turkey, is working very hard in this direction. I do not exclude that our steps, coordinated with other interested participants, will bring results. It is possible to achieve it in Berlin”, – the diplomat added.
