Tehran intends to prosecute U.S. President Donald Trump for the murder of General Kassem Soleimani, who commanded a special unit of Al-Quds of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC, elite units of the Iranian Armed Forces). This was stated by Chairman of the Supreme Court of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.
