The new US ambassador to Russia John Sullivan will arrive in Moscow on January 16, spokeswoman for the American diplomatic mission Rebecca Ross told the reporters.
“He will arrive on January 16th”, – she said.
The US Senate on December 12 approved the candidacy of Deputy Secretary of State Sullivan for this post, after which the US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo swore him. Before Sullivan, the head of the American diplomatic mission in Moscow was John Huntsman.
