Abkhazian opposition assaults Presidential Administration

Protesters broke into the Presidential Administration of Abkhazia, they are opposed by security forces. The assault began at 13:00, about 500 people gathered on the square in front of the administration building.

One of the initiators of the rally is Ahra Avidzba, who had previously demanded the resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Abkhazia, Harry Arshba.

Earlier, the Abkhaz cassation court postponed consideration of the complaint of the ex-presidential candidate Alkhas Kvitsiniya to the decision of the Supreme Court, which refused to declare the results of the second round of elections invalid.

In response, the opposition parties Amtsakhara and United Abkhazia called on citizens to come to the Supreme Court building on January 9.
