80 people killed in an Iranian missile attack on U.S. bases in Iraq

According to a source in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, 104 infrastructure facilities were destroyed.

 

The victims of Iran’s missile attack on U.S. bases in Iraq were 80 people. This was reported on Wednesday by the Tasnim agency with reference to a source in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In addition, it is noted that as a result of the missile attack 104 infrastructure facilities at U.S. military bases were destroyed.

Earlier CNN TV reported with reference to sources that missiles fired by the Iranian side hit the part of the Ain al-Assad air base in Iraq, where the U.S. military personnel were absent.

On Wednesday, several U.S. military facilities in Iraq were hit by ballistic missiles fired from Iran. The IRGC took over the responsibility for the operation.

The situation around Iran sharply escalated after the American strike at the Baghdad airport on the night of January 3, which killed the commander of the Al-Quds special forces of the IRGC, Kasem Suleimani. Tehran has promised Washington a tough response to this.
