Strikes of public transport workers in Paris: leaders of major trade unions join strikers

The largest French unions continue to put pressure on official Paris through strikes.

On the night of December 26-27, members of the CGT transport workers union took to the streets, blocking the way for their colleagues and not letting buses out of the depot. The strike took place in the French capital, in the vicinity of Vitry-sur-Seine park.

The general director of the bus company, Philippe Martinez, visited the strikers and, despite the circumstances, expressed his support to them.

Recall that strikes in France are associated with the introduction of a new pension reform.
