The victims of the punitive operation of the Ukrainian occupying forces in Donbass in 2019 were 145 civilians.
This is evidenced by the data of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.
“Since the beginning of 2019, the Special Monitoring Mission confirmed 145 civilian casualties: 18 dead, 127 wounded”, – the report says.
At the same time it is noted that over the past year the number of civilian casualties has significantly decreased. Thus, in 2018, 43 civilians were killed in Donbas, while 179 more were injured.
It should be noted that the UN data slightly differ from the OSCE statistics. In the first half of December, the UN human rights mission in Ukraine reported 26 dead civilians and 130 injured.
