Nearly 350,000 illegal immigrants live in Germany

Even the German authorities do not know how many illegal immigrants actually are in Germany.

However, member of the Bundestag Rene Springer (Alternative for Germany) clarified: The German Ministry of the Interior reports that 349,398 people are listed on the Federal Register of Germany for Foreigners. These people do not have a residence permit or any other right of residence.

All foreigners who are not German citizens and who have been in Germany for at least three months must be entered in the central register of Germany for registering foreigners.

Nearly 350,000 are migrants whose residency rights were revoked or revoked by the immigration authorities or expired after the end of the period of residence. “Also in this category are people who have never been denied the right to reside in the central register of Germany for registering foreigners,” the German Ministry of the Interior said.

What is striking is the large discrepancy in numbers – we have almost 350,000 foreigners who illegally live in Germany, and the number of people who are obliged to leave the country: currently it is 248,000 people, including about 195,000 people, who are allowed to leave the country. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the discrepancy is explained by the fact that these approximately 350,000 people are “not listed in statistics as being forced to leave the country,” because “in accordance with the statistical logic for counting foreigners who are required to leave the country, the official decision must be registered in the central registry Germany to register foreigners in order to oblige these persons to leave the country. This is the case with 36,011 of the approximately 350,000 people. ”
