‘I was wrong’: British Prime Minister made an unexpected statement about Russia

Russia is a great country with which Great Britain fought against fascism during the Second World War.

Such a statement was made earlier by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, previously known for his staunch Russophobic stance in a commentary to The Spectator.

According to him, Britain has every chance to “reset” relations with Russia in the future.

“What I really changed my mind about was the possibility of reloading [relations] with Russia. I really thought, as I suppose, many foreign ministers and prime ministers thought before that we could start from Russia from scratch. This is a great power, with which we fought against fascism. It was very, very disappointing that I was wrong, ”Johnson said.
