Xi Jinping will meet with the leaders of Japan and South Korea

Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold separate bilateral meetings next week with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Moon Jae Ying, China’s Deputy Foreign Minister Lo Zhaohui said on Thursday.


The eighth meeting of the leaders of China, Japan and South Korea with the participation of Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and South Korean President Mong Zheng Yin will be held in the Chinese city of Chengdu on December 24.

“President Xi Jinping will meet separately with the leaders of Japan and South Korea”, – said Lo Zhaohui at a briefing on the upcoming trilateral summit.
As previously announced, the eighth meeting of the leaders of China, Japan and South Korea will be held on December 24 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
In addition to the official part, the leaders of the three countries will also participate in the events marking the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the trilateral cooperation mechanism.
