Moldovans figured out Sandu’s plan – why did the pro-Western government self-withdraw?

Maya Sandu’s prime minister led Moldova to another political crisis, the result of which was the resignation of the government. At the same time, many citizens of the republic are sure that the leader of the pro-Western bloc “ACUM” made this decision intentionally.

This is evidenced by the results of a sociological study conducted by IMAS.

As News Front previously reported, as prime minister, Sandu tried to push through a resonant reform that would allow her to single-handedly nominate candidates for the post of Attorney General. Moreover, the decision was made bypassing the parliament and under the responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers. Thus, the introduction of a dubious initiative could only be prevented by the dissolution of the executive branch, which ultimately happened.
