This time, the epicentre of the riots was not the city centre, but the Camp Nou district. The riots began at Travessera de les Corts. The mass demonstrations were accompanied by arson. Protesters, already traditional, sang the national anthem and raised the flags of independent Catalonia. The Spanish police used tear gas to disperse the protest.
