Demonstrations took place, in particular, in Los Angeles and San Francisco (both in California), Las Vegas (Nevada), Philadelphia and Pittsburgh (both in Pennsylvania), New York (New York), Boston (Massachusetts), Atlanta (Georgia), Denver (Colorado), Salt Lake City (Utah) and other cities. Many protesters carried placards calling for Trump to be removed from power.
According to Associated Press, the demonstrations were relatively small. Across the country, tens of thousands of people participated. Demonstrations in defense of women’s rights earlier this year attracted significantly more people.
On Wednesday, the U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote on two counts of trump as part of the impeachment process. Representatives of the Democratic Party incriminate the current head of the US administration of abuse of power and obstruction of the investigation of the US Congress.
