Ukrainian security forces have broken the truce in Donbas eight times in the past 24 hours, a representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic told reporters at the Joint Centre for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC).
On Tuesday, the Donetsk people’s republican representation in the JCCC announced ten ceasefire violations.
“Over the past 24 hours, the total number of violations by the Ukrainian armed formations has amounted to eight times”, – a spokesman said.
The Donetsk People’s Republican Centre for Control and Co-ordination added that the law enforcers fired 11 mines of 120 and 82 mm caliber at the territory of the republic. Small arms, large-caliber machine guns and grenade launchers were also used. The shelling zone included the districts of five settlements of the republic.
