TIME calls witnesses who testified against trump in the case of his impeachment “defenders of the year”

The title of “defenders of the year” according to TIME was divided between:

1. The Informer, the first to sound the alarm after a telephone conversation with Trump Zelensky (his name is not featured);
2. Mary Jovanovic, former US Ambassador to Ukraine;
3.  Bill Taylor, US Charge d’Affaires in Ukraine;
4. Fiona Hill, former White House expert on Russia;
5. Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Windman, chief expert of the White House in Ukraine.
