Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned of the possibility of a new major refugee crisis over India’s actions in Kashmir.
“We must be aware that we are facing a new crisis in Kashmir. The world must understand that the goal is to change the demography of Kashmir so that the Muslim majority becomes a minority. If the goal proclaimed (by India – ed.) Is this, then it is likely that we we’ll face a new refugee crisis, against which other crises will seem insignificant problems”, – he said, speaking on Tuesday at the official opening of the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva.
Khan recalled that in Kashmir, at least 8 million people “were under siege”.
