Kiev is ready to fix the “Steinmeier formula” in Ukrainian legislation, it can be integrated into the law on the special status of Donbass, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadim Pristayko said.
Earlier, the contact group for Ukraine agreed on the “Steinmeier formula”, according to which the law on the special procedure for local self-government in certain regions of Donetsk and Lugansk regions comes into force on an interim basis on election day and on an ongoing basis after the publication of the OSCE report on their results. After that, protests against the approval of the “Steinmeier formula” took place in Ukraine.
