Peskov calls on Kiev to dialogue with the DPR and LPR

The work on Minsk-3 can only be with experts from the LPR and DPR, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the air of the Big Game program.

“If you evaluate these words schematically and ask if it is possible – it is possible. Who can work on Minsk-3? Two sides. Therefore, if experts from Kiev sit in the contact group and beyond with experts from the DPR and LPR, they in all likelihood, they can work on some changes or additions to the Minsk package of measures. But so far, if I remember correctly, Kiev has denied the possibility of a direct dialogue with the self-proclaimed republics, ” Peskov said.

Earlier, the official representative of Kiev in the political subgroup, Alexei Reznikov, said that Ukraine will prepare amendments to the Minsk agreements on settlement in the Donbass before the next “Norman” summit. The representative of Russia in the Minsk contact group, Boris Gryzlov, said that this was a provocation that could complicate the situation. Putin at the Paris summit emphasized that it is impossible to rewrite Minsk: all points are linked, and you can lose everything.

At the “Norman” summit in Paris, Zelensky said he insisted on the transfer by the Ukrainian military of control over the border with Russia before the elections in Donbass. The President of Russia recalled that the Minsk Agreements provide for first elections, and then a decision on the border.
