Nearly 1,000 Syrian refugees returned to Syria from foreign countries over the past day, according to the newsletter of the Russian center for the reconciliation of warring parties and monitoring the movement of refugees.
“Over the past day, 998 refugees returned to the Syrian Arab Republic from the territories of foreign states, including 213 people from Lebanon through the Jaydet-Yabus, Tell-Kalah checkpoints (64 women, 108 children), from Jordan through the Nasib checkpoint – 785 people (236 women, 400 children)”, – the report said.
It is added that four residential buildings, a bakery and a school have been restored per day.
In addition, the engineering units of the Syrian armed forces completed the tasks of clearing the terrain and facilities in El Harra, Jasim (province of Deraa) and the Duma (province of Damascus) in a day. Specialists cleared 2 hectares of territory, and also discovered and destroyed 36 explosive objects.
