Serbia will not reduce the level of cooperation with Russia, despite the aspiration to the EU, said Serbian President Alexander Vučić.
“Serbia is on the European path, but Serbia has also signed a trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union. And despite the fact that Serbia is on the Europath, we will not reduce the volume of cooperation and will not become less friends with Russia”, – Vučić said at a joint press -conference with the President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
He noted that Serbia will not allow anyone to interfere in relations with the Russian Federation. “We will protect and cultivate our friendship. We will protect our closeness, we will continue to cultivate our brotherhood. No one can take it from us, despite all attempts. I told this to numerous representatives of different countries”, – the Serbian leader said.
Vučić added that “we will continue our cooperation with the Russian Federation, despite all that no matter what anyone says, and we are sure that it will be in the best interests of the Russian and Serbian people”, – he stressed.
