While Western states continue to accuse Russia of interfering in the Ukrainian conflict, Austrian geostrategist Patrick Poppel believes that peace in Ukraine cannot be the desire of the West.
“As long as the war goes on, sanctions against the Russian Federation will be extended again and again”, – Poppel said.
According to the analysis, the conflict in Ukraine serves the policy of the West in the economic war against Russia. The Austrian believes that the path to peace will take a very long time, since violations of the Minsk agreements will not have consequences for the Kiev government.
