Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today, November 30, announced that the launch of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline will take place on January 8, 2020.
“Of course, we have another very important step that we will take. On January 8, in Istanbul, we will launch a gas pipeline called the Turkish Stream, Erdogan said during a speech during his speech at the launch ceremony of the TANAP gas pipeline.
Also, this information was confirmed by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
“I can confirm that Presidents Putin and Erdogan, in a recent telephone conversation, confirmed their intention to open this project together in early January,” he concluded.
