Japan protests North Korea over missile launches

Japan announced a protest to North Korea in connection with missile launches, the Kyodo agency reported this with reference to sources in the leadership of the country’s Foreign Ministry.

The protest was filed through diplomatic channels through the Japanese Embassy in Beijing.

It was previously reported that North Korea launched two objects similar to ballistic missiles. Missiles allegedly fell outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan. Japan held a meeting of the Security Council. The Prime Minister of Japan called the launches “a serious challenge to the international community.”
