Germany is ready to cooperate with Moscow

Berlin is ready to develop long-term pan-European relations with Moscow, but not through the Head of its Eastern European neighbors, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said at the opening of the forum on foreign policy in Berlin.

“Our neighbors in Poland and the Baltic states can be sure that we have always taken their security needs seriously and will continue to do so. We are ready to build a long-term pan-European approach to Russia, but we will not do this through the head of our Eastern European neighbors, but taking into account all the specific experiences and their well-founded strategic interests”, – Maas said.

“For Germany, there will be no separate paths in this matter”, – he added.
