Medvedev discusses with the Prime Minister of Finland cooperation in the Arctic

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that he had discussed with his Finnish counterpart Antti Rinne relations between Russia and the EU, the situation in Ukraine, and cooperation in the Arctic.

“We discussed the international agenda, of course, talked about the situation in Europe, relations between the Russian Federation and the EU, especially since Finland is currently chairing the Council of Europe. We talked about regional problems, relations with Ukraine, and resolving the situation inside this country,” Medvedev told a press conferences following negotiations with the Prime Minister of Finland.

“Naturally, they talked about our contacts and how we should cooperate in such a crucial region as the Arctic. This is another area of ​​our cooperation with Finland. The list of issues was very wide,” the Russian prime minister added.
