Serbian President Alexander Vucic considers Russian leader Vladimir Putin to be a sincere friend of Serbia.
“As for President Putin and the visit, we are getting ready, we will have a large and serious delegation, this is an extremely important meeting for us. I consider President Putin a sincere friend of Serbia. As President of Serbia, I am obligated to protect the interests of Serbia and will continue to do so”, – TASS quoted Vučić as saying.
He noted that Serbia is one of the few countries that has not imposed sanctions against Russia, supported it at the international level, and continued military cooperation.
Earlier, President of Serbia Alexander Vucic confirmed his intention to pay a visit to Russia on December 4.
