A trade deal between the United States and China cannot be concluded on equal terms, US President Donald Trump said on Friday.
“I told him (PRC President Xi Jinping) that this cannot be a deal on an equal footing”, – he said on Fox News.
According to him, this is impossible because the United States and China have long had an imbalance in bilateral trade – about $ 500 billion a year in favor of Beijing. In this regard, Trump added that he did not like the recent statement by the Chinese leader on an equal deal.
