In order to avoid the threat of impeachment, Trump actively attacks key witnesses: on Sunday, the President’s official account on Twitter made an aggressive appeal to Jennifer Williams, the assistant of the Vice President Mike Pence, to study both transcripts of telephone conversations with Vladimir Zelensky and work out a better strategy for attacking the President together with other opponents of Trump.
Tell Jennifer Williams, whoever that is, to read BOTH transcripts of the presidential calls, & see the just released ststement from Ukraine. Then she should meet with the other Never Trumpers, who I don’t know & mostly never even heard of, & work out a better presidential attack!

Williams has already testified at closed hearings and will reappear in Congress on Tuesday, November 19. Thus, Trump made an attempt to discredit in advance the testimony that Wilms will provide on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, November 20, testimony will also be given by the US envoy to the EU Gordon Sondland, who will potentially play a crucial role in investigating the issue of Trump’s abuse of power.
Earlier, Trump also attacked Marie Jovanovic, the former US ambassador to Ukraine, who claimed that some of the Ukrainian politicians with whom the Americans collaborated objected her fight against corruption. Trump commented on these testimonies on Twitter as follows:
Everywhere Marie Yovanovitch went turned bad. She started off in Somalia, how did that go? Then fast forward to Ukraine, where the new Ukrainian President spoke unfavorably about her in my second phone call with him. It is a U.S. President’s absolute right to appoint ambassadors.
