Ukrainian security officials violated the ceasefire in the Donbass almost 100 times over the past week, Eduard Basurin, deputy head of the People’s Police Directorate of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, told reporters on Friday.
The new ceasefire in the Donbass entered into force on July 21. On November 8, the DPR stated that the Ukrainian security forces violated the ceasefire in the region 140 times in a week, firing over 600 mines and shells across the republic.
“For a week, the armed formations of Ukraine 99 times violated the ceasefire, including from prohibited weapons. In the districts of 26 settlements of the republic, the enemy fired two tank shots, 122 mines with a caliber of 120 and 82 millimeters… A civilian born in 1965 was injured. and 12 residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged”, – Basurin said.
He noted that all the information with the attachment of photo and video materials was sent to representatives of international organizations located in the territory of the DPR, and to the Prosecutor General’s Office for initiating criminal cases.
“Since the ceasefire was declared on July 21, the enemy violated it 1,539 times. In total, two civilians were killed and 21 were wounded, 299 residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged”, – Basurin said.
