American President Donald trump announced the flight of a possible successor to the leader of the terrorist group “Islamic state” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. He said this during talks with Turkish leader Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday, November 13.
Trump reminded the Turkish partners that al-Baghdadi himself and his closest aide were eliminated during a special operation by the US military in late October.
“We continue to monitor the number three. He was supposed to be number one, but he is on the run. He is fleeing, saving his life, but we took it in sight”, – the US president said.
Recall, on October 27, US President Donald Trump said that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was destroyed during the operation of the US armed forces in Syrian Idlib.
