Combat helicopters of the Russian army aviation expand the territory of air patrol in the northern regions of Syria.
Mi-8 and Mi-35 helicopters flew around settlements and major highways in Hasek province.
This will help to increase the Russian presence in the Syrian sky and lay new ground patrol routes by Russian military police units, as well as the deployment of the humanitarian mission of the reconciliation center of the warring parties (CPVS) in the north of the country.
“We carry out the tasks of air patrolling in the northern regions of Syria, as well as accompanying convoys with humanitarian aid and convoys of military police patrols,” the navigator of the Mi-8AMTSh helicopter, Ivan Petrov, told reporters.
Pilots take all precautions: air patrolling takes place at low altitudes, helicopters do not rise above 50 meters.
