The government of Moldova, headed by Maya Sandu, was dismissed.
The corresponding decision was made during a meeting of the parliament, which considered the issue of the Cabinet of Ministers passing a vote of no confidence. He was supported by deputies from the Party of Socialists, as well as representatives of the now opposition Democratic Party.
As News Front previously reported, the political crisis in Moldova arose against the background of Sandu’s decision to get the right to single-handedly nominate candidates for the post of Attorney General. Moreover, the decision was made bypassing the parliament and under the responsibility of the government. Thus, the implementation of the “reform” could only be prevented by the dissolution of the cabinet.
