Opposition supporters in Bolivia took control of the state-owned radio station Patria Nueva and the national television channel Bolivia TV, interrupting coverage of protests in the country, Patria Nueva director Ivan Maldonado told the reporters.
“The protesters who surrounded our studios held us for about two hours, threatening to destroy equipment <…> if we did not stop our journalistic work”, – said Maldonado.
