Dozens of people gathered at the rally. Several deputies from the ACUM bloc came to them. Protesters came out demanding the appointment of a prosecutor general, who will be supported by parliament. Earlier, protest organizers reported that they required independent justice.
President Igor Dodon said he does not support government decisions to amend the law on prosecutors. In turn, the socialists took the initiative to put forward a vote of no confidence in the cabinet.
After a vote of no confidence in the government was put forward, the head of the Cabinet, Maya Sandu, went out to the protesters in front of the parliament.
