President Alberto Fernandez: Macri will leave 5 million new poor in Argentina

Elected President of Argentina spoke in detail about the seriousness of the debt to the International monetary Fund, which his country has.

Argentina’s President-elect Alberto Fernandez has assured that the leadership of current President Mauricio Macri has led the country to face “problems that never occurred to us that we could have”,  including the abandonment of 5 million new poor.

“Macri is going to leave 5 million new poor, 40 percent of the Argentine population below the poverty line”,- Fernandez said in the Conversando con Correa program, in which he condemned that “the international monetary Fund (IMF) has Been implicated”.

“Argentina has always paid its debts: it joined the IMF in 1957, and in 2005 paid 100 percent of borrowed funds in the amount of $ 9.8 billion”, –  he recalls and regrets that in just one year, Macri remained in debt for amount close to 60,000 million dollars.

On the other hand, he noted that “the world must understand that we are not like Macri, we are not lying. And we cannot repay the loan under the conditions that exist in the Argentinean economy”.
