US forces are settling in at oil fields in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor, where two military bases are being built right now.
This was reported by the Turkish news agency Anadolu.
According to media reports, one military facility will be located at the location of the 113th brigade of the American army, the second – at the village of As-Sur. Now the region has concentrated construction equipment and about three hundred military men with heavy weapons and armored vehicles.
As News Front previously reported, the United States has stolen Syrian oil for years. Loyal armed groups, including the Syrian democratic forces consisting of Kurdish militants, also helped Washington in this.
According to Russian space intelligence, the illegal export of Syrian oil took place at the height of the fight against the Islamic State terrorist organization, and after its main forces were defeated. At the same time, Washington’s monthly income was more than $30 million. This money was shared between American intelligence agencies and private military companies cooperating with them.
It is noteworthy that US President Donald Trump did not even begin to hide the true goals of the American presence in the Arab Republic. He noted that the US military remains in Syria to control oil fields.
“I love oil. We preserve oil”, – he said.
