In 2015, against the background of the Kiev regime’s punitive operation in the Donbass, the UK Ministry of Defense initiated Operation Orbital, aimed at training Ukrainian militants. They decided to extend this program in London.
According to the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Ben Wallace, the mission of the British military in Ukraine will last until March 2023. According to him, this should demonstrate London support for the Kiev leadership.
“We will continue our training mission in Ukraine for another three years, so that we can train thousands more of Ukrainian troops”, – the British official said. It is noteworthy that at the same time he mentioned his visit to the Donbass, which took place in September.
In addition, Wallace emphasized “the determination of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to defend their territorial integrity”.
Thus, London actually opposes a peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in the Donbass.
It is worth noting that over the years of work in Ukraine, British experts trained over 17.5 thousand Kiev militants.
