Russia and Turkey complete second patrol in Syria

The Russian military police and the border service of Turkey completed the second patrol on 70 kilometers of the border with Syria, the Ministry of Defense said.

The patrol inspected the situation in the Syrian settlements and returned to the starting point – the customs crossing of Ailishar. The route took about two hours.

The patrol consisted of eight units of military equipment – “Tiger” armored vehicles of the Russian military police and “Kirpi” armored vehicles of the Turkish border service, as well as about 50 military personnel of both countries. Real-time monitoring of the situation was provided by the Orlan-10 drone of the Russian military police.
