Kiev calls the DPR report about the readiness for troop withdrawal a provocation

Kiev representatives in the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire (JCCC) called the message about the readiness of the militia to proceed with troop withdrawal in the Petrovskoye area to be provoking and noted that the latest shelling in the area of this site was allegedly October 30.

Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that on November 4, Ukrainian security forces and militants should begin the withdrawal of forces qand assets on a site in the Petrovskoye district in the Donbass. On Friday, the Head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Zagorodniuk said that Kiev was awaiting a review of the date of troop withdrawal in the Petrovskoye area in the Donbass, since shelling allegedly was recorded there. DPR stated that the shelling in the Petrovskoye area was from the Ukrainian security forces. At the same time, the militias are ready to begin the withdrawal of forces on the date agreed on by the contact group – November 4.

“Information that the occupation authorities were ready to begin the withdrawal of forces and assets at Petrovskoye site No. 3, as a sign of which they would launch a white signal rocket at 12:00 (13:00 Moscow time) on November 4, appeared in a number of media on November 3. The context of the statement of the representatives of the occupying authorities regarding the intentions to start the withdrawal process at site No. 3 is nothing more than another provocation and blurring the eyes of the world community”, – the Press center of the operation of the Joint Forces of Ukraine cites Kiev representatives in Facebook.

The JCCC noted that the militias “do not comply with the Minsk agreements and the commitments undertaken in the tripartite contact group to establish a stable ceasefire”.

According to the OSCE SMM report, the latest violation of the silence regime within Station No. 3 Petrovskoye was recorded on October 30.
