The ships of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy arrive in Brunei

A detachment of warships of the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy made a business call at the port of Moire in Brunei. It is reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“A detachment of the Pacific Fleet ships, consisting of the Nakhimov Order of the Varyag Guards missile cruiser, the Admiral Panteleev large anti-submarine ship, and the Pechenga medium-sized sea tanker, made a business call to the port of Muara in accordance with the plan for a long voyage to the Asia-Pacific region (State of Brunei)”, – the defense department said in a statement.

It is noted that the sailors of the two countries will take part in sports as well as cultural events.

The Ministry of Defense said that they plan to complete the visit of Russian ships to Brunei on November 7.

On October 20, it was reported that a squad of warships in the Pacific Fleet made a business call at Sattahip, Thailand’s main naval base.
