Turkey threatened to send terrorists to Europe

Turkish authorities have accused the EU of irresponsible attitude towards the militants of the Islamic State terrorist organization, who are in prison camps in northern Syria, Reuters reported on November 2.

“This is simply unacceptable and irresponsible,” said Turkish Interior Minister Suleiman Soilu, referring to the situation in which Ankara should deal with the problem alone.

According to him, if in the foreseeable future the attitude of individual countries and Brussels to the problem does not change, Turkey may begin to send captive terrorists to Europe.

Until recently, captured ISIS fighters were guarded by Syrian Kurds in the camps. But after the start of the operation of the Turkish army, the Source of Peace control passed to the military of this country. Ankara wanted to occupy part of Syrian territory in order to settle refugees from Syria there.

Earlier, the US leadership called for judging the militants in the camps in their homeland in European countries.
