U.S. President Donald Trump stood up for Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard and green candidate in 2016 Jill Stein, whom Hillary Clinton called Russia’s agents.
Speaking in Mississippi, Trump hit Clinton, who won the election three years ago.
“She’s beautiful, of course, you have not heard what happened last week? I don’t know about who Tulsi Gabbard is, but one thing I know: she is not an agent of Russia. And Jill Stein – she is green, of course, but it’s not scary <. ..> I know that she is not an agent of Russia, “the president said.
He added that it took him two years to “get rid of the false statement” that Clinton made on his account.
An audience of supporters of the president welcomed criticism of Clinton and chanted: “Lock her up!”
In an October interview with Capmaign HQ podcast, Clinton called Gabbard the favorite Russian candidate, and Green Party candidate Jill Stein the Russian agent.
After losing the 2016 election, Clinton has repeatedly stated that Stein, who received a few percent of the vote, prevented her from winning a number of important states and becoming president. According to Clinton, this could not have happened without Russian intervention.
Gabbard, like Stein, expressed indignation at Clinton’s statements, calling her a war-raiser and a personification of corruption.
Congressional Democrats have long been investigating Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, but have not achieved anything. In addition, Special Prosecutor Robert Muller conducted the trial for two years and ultimately confirmed allegations of interference with the election, but did not find evidence of a conspiracy between Trump and Moscow, the presence of which was denied both in the Kremlin and the White House.
