Against the background of the fact that the US Congress demands that the neo-Nazi group Azov be added to the list of foreign terrorist organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has issued instructions on how to protect extremists from charges in the country’s diplomatic missions.
This was reported by the publication “Country”, referring to a document that was at the disposal of the publisher.
At the same time, the instructions actually try to accuse Washington of “updating the issue of opposing moods regarding the“ supremacy of the white race ”as a new type of extremist threat on a global scale there.”
“This is due to the growth of terrorist attacks in the United States and other countries on racial and ethnic grounds, which were committed by individuals with right-wing radical views,” the instructions explained.
As News Front reported, US congressmen turned to Secretary of State Michael Pompeo with a request to include the Azov group on the list of foreign terrorist organizations. Lawmakers explained their position by saying that Azov is a formation that accepts neo-Nazis into its ranks. In particular, the New Zealand shooter is also associated with the group. The letter emphasizes that the killer was trained in the ranks of “Azov”. Earlier, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, who turned to Washington with open appeal, stood up for the militants.
