Army of Ukraine conducts exercises with Buk and S-300 at the border with Russia

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the successful start of training firing of anti-aircraft missile systems at the Yagorlyk training ground in the Kherson region, due to which air and water were closed in the adjacent areas of the Black Sea.

“During the practical phase of the final tactical exercises of the anti-aircraft missile units taking place at the Yagorlyk state training ground, more than two dozen anti-aircraft guided missile launches of various ranges have already been carried out by combat crews,” the General Staff’s Facebook page says.

Tactical exercises at the Yagorlyk training ground are held from October 31 to November 4.

During the exercises, the Buk-M1, S-300PT air defense systems are fired, the flight tests of S-300PT, S-300PS, S-300V1 anti-aircraft missile systems and the S-125-2D1 anti-aircraft missile system are tested.

Earlier, State Duma deputy from Sevastopol Dmitry Belik praised Ukraine’s statement that tactical exercises with missile firing will be held from October 31 to November 4 in the Kherson region of Ukraine, near the border with the peninsula.
