An armed clash occurred between Ukrainian security forces and nationalists in the Donbass, official representative of the People’s Militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Rinat Aigistov told reporters on Thursday.
Earlier, the DPR announced the arrival of Ukrainian nationalists in the area of the separation of forces to aggravate the situation. According to Aigistov, between the Ukrainian security forces and Ukrainian nationalists, who are against the separation of forces in the Donbass, an “open confrontation” begins.
“We have noted cases of detention and disarmament of radicals, there are armed clashes with losses on both sides. So, yesterday at a checkpoint in the area of Nikolaevka (under the control of Kiev – ed.), Three AK-74 units were found during the inspection of the NIVA car” , – Aigistov noted.
