Bellingcat is no longer so specific in its empty accusations of Russia in the MH17 case

Eliot Higgins – the founder of the infamous resource “Bellingcat”, which has been promoting anti-Russian information campaigns almost from the very moment of its creation, is now more accurate in its statements regarding the “guilt” of Russia in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass.

In an interview with the Ukrainian edition of Ukrinform, Higgins, although he maintained a clearly Russophobic position, chose to refuse specific accusations against the Russian Federation.

He suggested that new suspects may appear in the case without specifying which country the defendants will be from. Moreover, he preferred to avoid the answer when it came to the question, “who pressed the button and launched the “BUK ”.

“We do not have specific names for those who pressed the button. In a sense, this does not really matter, because they are part of the management structure that led them to the click of a button”, – Higgins explained evasively.

He hastened to assure that he had a “clear idea of this structure”, but did not dare to formulate a specific accusation against Russia. Instead, he shifted the responsibility to an international investigative team that is investigating, assuring that there “they are even better aware of all this”.
