Although nowadays everyone is only talking about migration flows to Europe, in the nearest future refugees will be able to avoid displacement from Europe.
Austrian strategic analyst Patrick Poppel believes that migration flows can change their direction in the future and that Europeans can also flee.
“We live in the time of new migration of peoples, and from history we know what further consequences should be expected. The mass immigration of people from other cultures can change the European society, so many Europeans may face the issue of emigration”, – says Poppel.
Demographic development is currently going in that direction. Poppel also believes that, in addition to the already widespread movements to Latin America and Australia, Russia could also become a potential target for European migrants.
“Maybe we should go to Russia to remain Germans, French or Italians!” – Poppel added.
However, for all these reasons, Poppel emphasizes that such emigration options are only temporary and that Europeans should return to their continent. Now everything is changing so fast that you can’t think for centuries.
“Let’s recall how Europe has changed over the past 4 years from 2015”, – says Poppel.
