Jihadists trying to take revenge from the Syrian army in Latakia

Recently, units of the Syrian Arab army were able to knock out militants who occupied strategically important heights in the northern part of Latakia province. Now the jihadists are trying to return the territory under their control.

According to media reports, the militants of the Khayyat Tahrir al-Sham and Islamic Party of Turkestan terrorist groups attacked the positions of government forces on 1154 Hill.

The height is located on the way to the terrorist fortifications in Kaban near the Syrian-Turkish border. Previously, the militants occupied the hill, but the Syrian army fled them. Now the jihadists are trying to take revenge. According to recent reports, a fierce confrontation continued in this area. Nevertheless, the militants failed to push the SAA units off the hill.
